Maintenance Engineer – Fitter

£27,655 plus shift allowance. Shift equates to approximately £2,000 more per annum + overtime

Reporting to the Head of Production the successful candidate will:

·Carry out all pre-planned maintenance activities in line with schedules.

·Prioritize and carry out repair work as per production requirements.

·Carry out such maintenance or repair work as instructed by the Team Leader.

·Write up reports on equipment condition and works carried out, as required with recommended further works if required.

·Order spares through the correct system as required.

Qualifications / Experience

The applicant will ideally be:

Qualified and/or a time served Fitter.

Experienced in the use of hand & machine tools

Able to read & understand engineering drawings

Experienced in working with pneumatics & hydraulics

Experienced in working with fans, rotary & piston type pumps

IOSH qualified or equivalent. However, please note that this is desirable, however not essential as full training will be provided
