Toolmaker who will be following a days pattern.

Role Purpose:

Responsible for Reactive, preventative & routine maintenance of all Injection Moulding tooling to enable efficient machine uptime to allow production targets to be achieved in a safe and efficient manner.

Job Elements:

Carry out all routine, reactive, preventative maintenance activities in a safe and efficient manner in line with tooling schedules.
Provide appropriate engineering support when required.
Participate in design reviews for all new injection moulding tooling including MOD’s.
Prioritize and carry out repair work as per production requirements.
Carry out such maintenance and/or repair as instructed by Department Head/Manager.
Carry out all planned maintenance checks as per requirement.
Implement log books for all tooling to register all running conditions, issues, mods and running shots.
Write up reports live on equipment conditions with recommendations on work carried out and planned additional required works.
Order spares through correct system and liaise with the department Leaders as required.
Basic fabrication/small welding skills.
Attend any training as required to maintain competency/qualifications.
Has the authority to stop a process immediately if continuation could result in Health, Safety, Environmental or Quality standards being compromised.
