Reporting directly to HR Manager, the Business Administrator will provide administrative support to the Management Team and across all support departments within the business. The Business Administrator will be willing to work on new projects and will proactively manage their own workload in line with deadlines and business needs.
The Business Administrator will be required, on occasions, to be the first point of contact for site visitors and enquiries. Offering advice and guidance, directing enquiries to the correct onsite personnel, and ensuring that internal and legislative procedures are followed and adhered to when visitors arrive on site.

You will ensure that all visitors follow the signing in and out procedure, to ensure that the business is compliant with H&S and legal regulations.
Manage and maintain the Management Teams calendars, send meeting reminders, organise, and schedule meetings as required and directed.
Management of confidential documents including confidentiality agreements and supplier contracts.
Manage internal and external post.
General administrative duties such as filing, photocopying, archiving documents, taking minutes, printing documents, monitor toner levels on photocopying machine and ensure that the supplier is providing replacements in a timely manner when toner levels are low or if there are any faults with the equipment etc.
Manage and maintain stock levels for stationary, hygiene and consumables. Liaising with the relevant managers to ensure that adequate stock levels are maintained, and purchases made on a weekly basis to ensure consistent supply of materials.
Review and replace sign in/ fire registers on a regular basis.
Manage the company general email inbox.
Keyholder responsible for opening up/and locking the Office daily or when required.
Take on the role as a 5s champion to ensure there is a clean as you go ethos within the office, and a clean desk policy is adapted by all employees.
Create and send all site purchase orders, ensuring that these are acted upon and generated within a timely manner, to not cause unnecessary delay to business requests.
Support planning with general administrative duties, such as scanning production packs and saving data from the inward and outward goods forms.
Work on company projects such as waste management, revamping office space.
Take ownership of reviewing and renewing the company’s utility packages and file all relevant documents in a safe secure place.
Travel to work from Caerphilly, Ebbw Vale, Ysrtrad Mynach, Blackwood, Tredegar
Essential Skills, Experience and Qualifications
Fully proficient user of Microsoft Office particularly in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, etc.
X5 GCSE grades A*-C (or equivalent qualification), Mathematics is essential.
Excellent communication skills with stakeholders at all levels both verbal and written.
Excellent telephone manner.
Knowledge of 5s – desirable
GDPR compliant and an excellent understanding of the need to work in a confidential manner at all times, due to the sensitive information that is dealt with.
Desire to expand own skills and knowledge, working alongside other skilled colleagues including product development, warehouse, packing, quality, accounts and HR
