Goods Inward Quality Inspector
The role will involve carrying out goods inward inspection of supplied parts, management supplier quality concerns and providing support for production areas. Experience gained in a quality role would be ideal. Reporting to the Quality and Operations Director.
· Incoming inspection control.
· Maintenance of inspection records and ERP processes.
· Assist warehouse & materials with the identification of non-conforming product.
· Inspection & analysis of suspect components/assemblies from production lines and stock disposition.
· Analysis, verification & processing of production rejects, completion of reject records and scrapmetrics.
· Identifying improvement actions waste reduction, contribute to continuous improvement programme.
· Reporting and co-ordinating with SQA all supplier defects and concerns.
· Processing of supplier rejects through Return to Vendor (RTV) process.
· Support quality containment actions.
· Manage and maintain the QA inspection areas.
· Support of Quality Engineers with the operational quality Issues.
· Support internal sample inspection process & verification of product.
· Support supplier PPAP verification process.
· Support SQA activities, liaise with suppliers and supplier visits when required.
· Adhere to defined quality processes in accordance to ISO9001.

Travel to work from; Caerphilly, Cardiff, Newport, Blackwood, Pontypridd, Merthyr.
