This is a rare opportunity to manage all aspects of Human Resources in a leading company, with very little staff turnover. You will be people focused with a strong but empathetic personality and flexible with regards to the business needs in the role of Human Resources Advisor. You will have several years experience in an HR role ideally in a manufacturing or engineering organisation
Key responsibilities: Overview
This role is people focused with a strong but empathetic personality and flexible with regards to the business needs.
Working alongside and supporting the various departmental managers in dealing with grievances, absence and the various disciplinary’s.
The main point of contact for all HR issues within the company, with Employee Engagement being one of the key HR goal objectives for the company.
Responsible for developing and contributing towards new projects, procedures, and processes.
Experienced in providing a comprehensive HR advisory service on people/policies and procedures in employment law and company policy.
Ensuring HR best practice and Employment Law compliance for all the HR activities within the organization.
Maintaining and updating HR policies and procedures, Company Handbook, GDPR etc. where necessary
Advice on various HR related issues
The Human Resources Advisor will also be required to utilize the current data base and files available to produce various ad-hoc reports plus develop reports as requires.
Utilising the data base and files available to produce and develop reports for statistical analysis.
Ability to meet deadlines and analysing absence/punctuality and recording various HR related data.
Person spec: Human Resources Advisor
Generalist all round experience of dealing with HR related issues within a manufacturing or engineering organisation
Ideally hold relevant qualification
Excellent verbal and communication skills
Disciplined in time management and organizational skills
Excellent attention to detail
5 years plus experience in a similar role
