Materials Expeditor Global Manufacturer Tredegar circa £24,000 per annum

Excellent opportunity to work for an established and busy International Manufacturing organisation.
Work from customer configuration specifications to establish production schedules and capacity requirements.
Oversee production plan to ensure materials arrive on time and there is manufacturing capacity to support the Master production schedule.
Liaises with sales, production to reschedule in case material shortages or backlogs, and other potential schedule interruptions.
To ensure all production raw materials are scheduled, ordered and delivered in line with production requirements.
Attend Production Planning Meetings
Raise and issue supplier schedules via Fourth shift reports.
Raise and issue purchase orders for non production items.
Expedite materials in line with supplier schedule requirements ensuring material is delivered on time.
Monitor global supplier schedule adherence
Achieving Inventory targets
Ensure any free issue parts and packaging required for manufacture of sub contract items are issued to suppliers in adequate time for finished product to be delivered as per our schedule.
Coordination & control of inbound logistics
Liaise direct with logistics providers to ensure materials are delivered on dedicated days at dedicated slot times to meet production requirements.
Ensure master delivery board is updated regularly and goods receiving are made aware of any changes to deliveries.
Ensure all Health & Safety procedures are maintained in accordance with company policy.
Contact with all suppliers.
Contact with warehouse personnel on a daily basis
Contact, as required, with quality, production, sales and engineering personnel
Supporting new Product introduction & Engineering change
36.25hr per week – Mon-Thur 9.00-5.00pm ,Fri 8.00am – 2.00pm
