Monitor and update purchase enquiries with suppliers
Coordinate & monitor component samples receipt from Suppliers and internal approval
Coordinate the supply and delivery from outside suppliers of engineering samples
Update the performance of suppliers in relation to supply and quality of components delivered
Coordinate the issue of small consignments to suppliers
Monitor Steel & raw material costs
Update Foreign Currency rates and Fuel Prices
Monitor and Update Raw Material Costs
Facilitate Engineering Change which involves Suppliers
Co-ordinate and issue reports on performance to our Fastener supplier
Prepare Spreadsheets showing costs of freight from overseas suppliers , sea , air road
Prepare Spreadsheets to show any adverse or favourable Freight Costs
Analyse Packaging Waste from Suppliers and report on the same
Update Spend with suppliers and the impact of cost reductions/ increases from suppliers
Update Supplier Projects and minutes from Supplier Meetings
Raise Supplier Meeting Agenda’s
Incoming Supplier Container co-ordination
Update suppliers stock of components
Prepare Enquiries for new suppliers to supply existing components
Record impact of Inventory Cycle counts with suppliers
Co-ordinate the Purchase Departments input into Customer Quotations
Provide supplier REACH and COSH information
Undertake the re-sourcing of small / medium cost parts
Co-ordinate the issue to suppliers of their six monthly Performance evaluation reports
Update “Blue Bin” Line shortage reports regarding progressing material delivery via Material Planners or Suppliers direct
