Sales Ledger Controller circa £25,000 + dep on experience + benefits

This is a fantastic opportunity to join a well established, forward thinking and fast growing Cardiff based business. The company is the largest independent electrical wholesaler in Wales and operates across 6 sites.

The successful applicant must have several years Accounts experience ideally in a similar role in a Commercial office environment. Sales Ledger and Cash allocation experience is essential. You should also possess a strong level of personal motivation.

Key Responsibilities:

Sales Ledger

Cash allocation and Cash Banking Replying to invoice queries

Providing copy documents as required.

Setting up new customer accounts

Working with Finance Manager and other managers to control overdue debts.

Producing weekly and adhoc reports

Purchase Ledger

To assist with posting invoices as holiday cover.

To assist with supplier statement reconciliations as required.

You must have substantial commercial office environment experience

Proven experience as a Sales Ledger Controller or similar role

Proficient in using accounting software and MS Office/365 Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills Ability to multitask and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment Strong communication skills

Accuracy is essential in all aspects of the position and you will be able to demonstrate a track record of success in your previous roles. The company sells products not services and is growing quickly.

The experienced Sales Ledger Controller requires excellent written and telephone communication skills and strong Sales Ledger experience
